This incredible car started life in 1987 as a 3.2 Carrera, but has now been given a new lease of life by gods of aircooled 911s, Ninemeister.
The exterior takes inspiration from the 1974 3.0 RS with genuine Porsche widebody panels and a stunning vast ducktail rear wing. The iconic Guards Red colour was chosen as a nod to the original donor car, which is perfectly complimented by the matte gold Campagnolo wheels. The bespoke front bumper replaces the lower driving lights with custom air intakes, resulting in a far more elegant look than the original rubber impact bumpers.
On the inside, bespoke Recaro Clubsport seats with Martini-style inserts meet an Alcantara-wrapped Momo steering wheel making this a true drivers' 911. Having done only 13 miles since the build was completed, sitting inside the car is a time-warp experience, benefitting from mod-cons such as bluetooth connectivity, DAB radio and USB inputs.
This car is not just a showpiece, however. Ninemeister have fitted her with an incredible 993-derived, air-cooled engine rebuilt to 3.8-litre RS specification with Mahle pistons, sports cams, mechanical rockers and Motec engine software, meaning an output of 329 bhp and 313 lb-ft of torque, making this an immensely fast road car with an incredible flat-six soundtrack. The 5-speed manual gearbox feels tight and new, after having been fully rebuilt by Ninemeister, and paired with a Quaife limited-slip differential, lightweight clutch and lightweight flywheel.
Sitting on a completely reworked suspension set up with KW Clubsport 2-Way coilovers, as well as uprated strut braces and the braking system from the 930 Turbo, this is a car that is ready to be used as intended.
Having had just 3 owners from 1987, this specially commissioned build was completed by Ninemeister in September 2021, taking over 4 years and 1,000 hours. The full history file as well as a log of all the parts, labour and costs involved is present with the vehicle.
