Built in 1971, this Mercedes-Benz 280 SL is a late-production example of the celebrated W113 'Pagoda'. Finished in Anthracite Grey Metallic over Cognac leather, it is fitted with the automatic gearbox and benefits from incredibly low mileage and ownership. Originally supplied via Mercedes-Benz of Northampton to a successful jockey who bought the car for his wife, it remained in regular use until 1995 after which it spent a decade in storage prior to a professional restoration in the late 2000s, all while still under the ownership of the same family. More recently, the car has undergone a cosmetic overhaul by SL Gurus The SL Shop, including a full repaint and interior retrim, and presents in absolutely incredible condition.
