In 2017, Mercedes launched the exclusive special Edition 50 model of the AMG GT C to mark the landmark 50th anniversary of AMG, which was founded in 1967. Only 500 examples were delivered worldwide, including Coupes and Roadsters. The Edition 50 features the wider bodywork and wheel track from the GT R, and is capable of a top speed of 197 mph (1 mph slower than the GT R). The Edition 50 is adorned with exclusive exterior and interior features, as well as unique 'Dark Chrome' styling accents.
