History

Following the announcement of Lamborghini's participation in the 1996 Super Trophy motorsport series in the race-prepared Diablo SV-R, a limited number of road going Diablo SV models were produced - a performance oriented version of the iconic Lamborghini supercar. Introduced at the 1995 Geneva motor show, the Diablo SV featured a higher power output from the naturally aspirated 5.7-litre V12 (503 bhp), larger, cross-drilled brake discs, a revised front spoiler with brake cooling ducts, bespoke OZ Racing 3-piece alloy wheels, a full Alcantara interior, roof-mounted air intakes and a new rear wing. The Diablo SV was the first Lamborghini to bring back the 'SV' moniker from the Miura SV, now superseded by the incredible Murcielago SV and Aventador SV.
