Dear Tom,

Just a quick note to say thank you for all your splendid efforts on the Waiting Lists piece for Top Gear. We literally couldn't have done it without you. To give us your considered wisdom was enough, but to lend us a 355, an SLK, a CLK and a Boxster was devotion above and beyond the call of duty.

I've just finished cutting the piece and we have two very good soundbites from you, although I'm afraid we had to take out the bit about future premium cars, simply because we were pushed for time.

Again enormous thanks for all your help and I'll be in touch in the next few days about that XK8.
